Razz still wasn't sure how he got himself in this mess. He had mostly come to watch after he finished a mission near by and thought hey lets check this out! Next thing he knew Sunny was getting hyper about it and dragged him over to sign ups. Not wanting it to be awkward at the sign ups he just did it, but now he was stuck on stage being awkward! This was clearly bad planning on his part especially since he wasn't even sure what he signed up for. He was dressed for work, not beauty but with the way the Vivillon was bouncing up and down in the air he figured he could try it. [break][break]

Once on stage since he was too nervous to speak Razz just brought his hand to his mouth and whistled and in glee the Vivillon spun around the stage creating a GUST to wind up the crowd.

her participation had been merely for fun. it was now time for her and milotic to enter the stage. their appearance had been merely a courtesy. songbird hadn't been apart of contests in such a long time, so she was what one could consider to be fresh meat.

entering the stage, she'd greet the roaring. with a simple command, she'd order the milotic to perform, "disarming voice!" a melodic harmnony would grace the crowd.

Fernando plays up the crowd as they grow crazy over Evelyn’s appearance. It isn’t so much her Pokemon’s performance so much as it is just seeing on her the contest stage in person. Her name still echoes online and her stans in Hoenn remain ever vigilant. Fernando, always the supportive brother, enjoys the applause as well while adding to it with a clap of his hands.

“Our turn, Comfey! Knock them out with a POLLEN PUFF!”

Fernando’s Comfey comes off his arm and releases a variety of spores. Without any targets, they drift aimlessly, expanding in an attempt to heal and ally, until they burst. A multitude of plant fur fills the sky and rains down like yellow rain, filling the stage in a hazy curtain of April allergies.

“And LIGHT SCREEN.”

A purple barrier casts a screen in front of the much smaller Pokemon. For every fiber of POLLEN PUFF that touches the LIGHT SCREEN, the psychic wall glitters, reacting in a vast array of flickering lights.

Wait there was another round of this? No two more apparently, why weren't these just a show up, do a move and be done. The ranger was not prepared for this, and with the previous attack seeming to actually knock back a few members from the audience due to GUST he figured they should try something else. [break][break]

With a different whistle Vivillon tries out STUN SPORE, though as it was clearly their first contest and Razz not sure how to make it pretty it was all the two did. Counting more on this looks nice right? rather than making a show of it.

Gavin's relieved to have followed his equally inexperienced counterpart; though Evelyn was out of the contest circuit for quite some time and Fernando wasn't exactly a household name in contests, their entrance comes across to Gavin as more polished. Perhaps he's biased against himself, his own worst critic, but he politely applauds along with the crowd.[break][break]

When it's his turn again, he lets Ninetales lull the crowd with a HYPNOTIC melody of howls. Perhaps putting the audience to sleep wasn't the best idea, but he hoped it might do its part to sabotage the one who came after.

[attr="class","spiral"] The previous performances were quite lax. With Gavin putting the audience to sleep with his HYPNOSIS, it’s Fernando chance to wake them back up with a knock out performance. Just like last time, the Pokemon uses LIGHT SCREEN, providing a screen glass for the audience to view from.

“Again! Let’s take it from the top!”

Instead of a POLLEN PUFF, Comfey uses PETAL DANCE to launch the flower petals in to the crowd. The bulk of the blast is aimed at the earlier LIGHT SCREEN, causing the psychic wall to vibrate as each projectile bounces off it harmlessly. The constant knocking sound of glass has a certain tempo to it and it beats the drum of a wakening crowd.

Why did he have to go first, was it because he was the youngest competitor here? No that didn't seem right because then by that logic he was sure Gavin would be the one going last. Though honestly Razz sort of wished it as he keeps having to follow up the damn CEO of Silph company and that isn't an act this newbie enjoyed following. [break][break]

Though maybe they should try combos as that's what he was doing. Razz did a double whistle seeming to confuse the Vivillon but they were willing to try it out as the Scale Pokemon used STUN SPORE before trying to combine it with GUST. Clearly a bad move on his part as some of the spores did hit some of the people in the first row seats. Oh no! The ranger could only bow and sign -i'm sorry- over and over at his and his pokemon's mistakes. At least he had spare heals for this. Though for now he was going to leave the stage to throw up because god his nerves could not handle the crowed while unprepared.

The man with the Vivillon makes a critical misstep in scattering paralytic spores over the crowd; Gavin can only hope to gain favour with his own Pokemon's performance. It's not what he'd planned, but they adjust accordingly.[break][break]

At a signal from Gavin, Ninetales' HEAL BELL rings out through the hall. Those still drowsy would suddenly feel more alert, and those with stiffened limbs would find they could move again. Ninetales moves his tails in a captivating rhythm as the bells continue to chime. When they fade, Gavin takes a final bow and exits the stage.

Fernando plays to the crowd as they’re freed from the earlier PARALYSIS. His Comfey lets out another series of POLLEN PUFFS, filling the stage with the floating pockets of spores, but instead of combining it with a LIGHT SCREEN, it uses PETAL DANCE to defuse them. The sudden gust from expelling the PETAL DANCE allows them to spread over the crowd in a generous fashion however the petals slice into most of the puff. This cuts them, spreading the spores like sprinkles, invigorating the crowd just in time to clap for the last round.
